JBS Scone Meat Workers On Strike For A Fair Deal

Meat workers at JBS Scone in Scone, NSW will be taking industrial action tomorrow as they continue to bargain with this massive multinational meat processing company for a better deal.

These local workers want to spend the weekend with their families, but JBS is demanding a new roster which includes compulsory Saturday work.

Now these workers have had enough and are standing up for themselves!

JBS workers will walk off the job at 11 AM on Friday July 6, attending an AMIEU meeting in the park next to the Scone train station.

We encourage all members of the media to attend and speak to these struggling local workers about their fight for a fair deal.

WHEN: Friday, July 6 2018 at 11:00 AM

WHERE: The public park on Susan Street, Scone (next to the Scone train station)
